Our size chart is built around actual body measurements rather than arbitrary labels. Measure your bust, waist, and hip at their fullest points, then cross-reference with our chart. Each piece includes fit notes—for example, whether a shirt runs close to the body or offers ease through the shoulders.
Vellum pieces are designed with precision tailoring for women's bodies. Darts, seam placement, and sleeve pitch are engineered to fit without excess fabric or gaping. Most customers find their true size without alterations.
Size up if you prefer a relaxed fit or plan to layer. Size down if you like pieces close to your body. Our fit notes for each garment indicate which direction works best. If you're uncertain, our team can advise—reach out before ordering.
Yes. If a piece doesn't fit as described, we accept returns within 30 days, no questions asked. We also provide tailoring recommendations for minor adjustments (see below).
Because our pieces are cut for standard proportions, most customers wear them as-is. Hem lengths for trousers and dresses vary by height—we recommend having these tailored to your inseam. Shoulder or bust adjustments are rarely necessary due to our fit precision.

We work exclusively with natural fibres: silk charmeuse, silk twill, linen, cotton, and wool. Each is sourced for durability and feel. We avoid synthetics and blends that compromise breathability or longevity.
Our fabric sourcing is transparent—every collection details where materials come from and why we chose them. We prioritise suppliers who practice ethical production and minimal waste.
Silk requires gentle handling. Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent, or use the delicate cycle on your machine. Lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight. A light steam or iron on low heat restores drape.
